I assume your headaches start with a stuffy nose that may be trigger related due to some allegic reaction, Orajel, a toothache medication can locally deaden the nostril areas that may prevent the headache, but you may want to check this out with your doctor, also check out using oxygen from either a tank or a concenstrator, I prefer the concentrator has I had bad experiences with tanks, the inflamation slows oxygen to the head that can result in bad headaches, but I am not sure about what effects extra oxygen in your body would have on your baby, cold packs around the nose area also help to ease the inflamation, some headaches are triggered by strong perfumes or other irratants.

In my case, if I can keep my nostrils clear, I won't get a cluster and 30 mg of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride helps this, in generic form, no pain killers are added, but the bottle I have says to check this out with your doctor first if pregnant.

Most of the traditional treatments do have nasty side effects, even for those not pregnant and many cause rebound, sure you get relief, but the headache comes back worse, these are poor treatments in my book. If only the cause of these nasty headaches could be determined, would make life so much easier, I am gathering by reading this board that there are many different causes with no set rules or protocol, medications that others swear by have almost killed me and there doesn't appear to be any type of test to determine what the cause is, consequently, the treatment is a guessing game, in old Paris, due to the pollution in the city, those that could afford it would move out to the country to get well for various ailments including headaches, sewer gas was a main culprit along with acid type emissions from certain industries, in my case, my nostrils get swollen and bloody and the clusters can be triggered at drop of a dime so to speak, only cure for me is to get away and it can take as long as two weeks for my nostrils to heal, then the headaches stop. Each of us has different experiences, I hope you can define yours and have a healthy baby.
