Jeff,

Sounds like cluster to me. I've been suffering from CH for just over 12 years now (mine started in January of 1987) and I have always gotten them on both sides, left and right. Usually they will come on the right, but in the past they would sometimes attack on both sides at one. In recent years, they have been alternating right to left. The current cycle I am in started on my right side and then the left side started. Now, my right side has been dormant for a month and a half, but my left side rages on. This is usually indicative of being in two seperate cycles at once. In your case, you were probably in the middle of a, dare I say, "mild" cycleon your right side. As the Imitrex helped it and the pain was at the temple ( which is where my pain occurs for both sides - Cluster pain is usually behind the eye or at the temple)it was indeed most likely Cluster.

I hjope this hepled.

Cheers and remission,
Brandon
