Hi, fellow sufferers, I guess I also fall into this group. I was a migrane sufferer for years and then they faded, get one maybe once a year. I have suffered with Trigeminal Neurolgia for 17 years off and on. I have had lots of stress in my life since November 2000. The TN is very very painful, shooting pains, electric shock, the whole 9 yards. Finally got to go to a Neurologist yesterday and he told me not only do I have TN, I also have cluster headaches. I needed that news like I needed .... well u know what I mean. I have had this headache since early November along with the severe facial pains caused from the TN. He put me on some Dexamethasone for 3 days only. I took two tablets last night and this morning the headache was gone. My eye felt like someone had hit me with a hammer right in the eyeball and the pain in the forehead was very very bad. He said I was the first female patient he had every had that had both TN and CH. This mostly affects men, large men. I'm grateful to have run across this site though. So besides the Dexamethasone I take 1200mg of Tegratol a day for the facial problem. I'm 48 years old and believe I have had these headaches before but have just been diagnosed. I feel so bad for you americans, it seems u have to pay to see a Dr or a specialist. It can get very expensive. Today I feel better than I have in months. My eye didn't water all day, my nose didn't drip and I was able to speak without pain. Good luck to all of you and God Bless u all.

Vicky
