Tell your doctor to look up oxygen thearopy if he/she hasn't heard of it. You breath 100% oxygen for 10 min. when a headache starts. It will abort the headache with no side effect!!! I am a 40 year old woman and have had cluster headaches for over 25 years. It works for me, unfortunatley I just learned about it 4 years ago. So I spent 20 years in hell trying to get someone to take me seriously.
Anyway... TRY THE OXYGEN IT'S WONDERFUL and I would imagine you can keep nursing.
IF YOU HAVE CRAP FOR INSURANCE, DOWNLOAD CLUSTER HEADACHE INFOR AND OXYGEN INFOR FOR YOUR DOCTOR TO SUBMIT FOR APPROVAL. I changed insurance companies and the current carrier will not approve oxygen at $50.00 tank rental a month with a $20.00 oxygen refill. However; they will pay for initrex (which does not work for me) at $11.65 PER PILL and for me would be 699.00 a month.
