Jackie's father passed away last night.
Those of you who have been around a while know that he has been battling a series of illnesses. Jackie went to Florida last week to be with her father and family, as he had been admitted to the hospital again.
I know I could say a bunch of stuff about how this is for the best and he is now out of his pain and agony and in a better place, but I've never been good at this stuff. All I can think of is a wife who's lost her husband and kids who've lost their Dad. Don't tell me Jackie and her brothers and sisters are adults - I know that.
I also know your Dad is always Daddy, no matter how old you get.
Jackie, every time it rains, please remember this:
