I am going back to see my neuro Tuesday. We have tried just about every medication available. What I have gained is a lot of side effects to accompany my headaches. I am considering asking him to wean me off all the medication, and just live with the pain. Have any of you gone med-free? If so, what were the results? I am currently on Verapamil, Topomax, Zoloft, Neurontin, Aristicort, and Sansert. I am restocking my oxygen tanks to try that again (it did not work the first time, but that was several years ago).Any feedback would be appreciated. I would only do it under his advisement.
