Definitely not silly to me! I've lost many much loved pets over the years. It's very painful and sad to lose our four legged buddies, but I know Hamish had a wonderful and loving human "mom". I'm sure he's having a great time at the "rainbow bridge". Cher, go to this site--there are others who are going through the loss of a pet
