I was diagnosed with Chronic CH in 1995 and have been fighting them ever since. I have had only one two week remission period and that was in 97. Since then I have had on average, 5-7 a week. Through the years I have been on Sansert and Verapamil. Verapamil for the last year and a half. Just last week my doctor put me on sansert with the verapamil, but I still get the CH's. I though that it might have something to do with the amount of marijuana I smoke, so I stopped. The first week I stopped I only had one CH. But by the second week, I was back to my original almost daily headaches. I have never been able to locate any information on the effects of marijuana on CH. It seems that nobody else with CH smokes pot. But I know I'm not the only one. Pot has only once stopped a headache, but I'm sure it was coincidence. But I would like to know if it could cause them. As far as I could figure out, it doesn't really have an effect on them. Because there are some nights that I'll smoke and be fine, but other nights I'll smoke, the same pot, and about an hour or two later I'll get a CH. Can anybody help me figure this out? I'd really like to know. -Todd
