You can also try SFC (System File Check) IF you are running Win98. Goto START... RUN.. in the box type SFC and ok. You will need to have your Win98 CD in the Drive if the .CAB files are not on your hard drive. IF it finds a damaged file answer Yes to replace and then it will want to backup the old file, let it do that as well.
Should fix most DLL problems....
