Hi Connie,
I went an entire year last year with headaches every day and night. Needless to say, I was convinced I was becoming chronic, but eventually, and slowly, the headaches did subside, then disappear, and I'm fine now, for the moment at least.
I must also add that while I, too, enjoy my evening drinks, I don't go near alcohol when I even vaguely suspect I'm still in a cycle. It could be, I repeat COULD BE, that he's prolonging his cycle with the continual trigger of alcohol. Try abstaining and see what happens.
Also, at the end of my cycle I tapered down on the verapamil to 240mg a day, and I still remain on that dosage. Either it's helping to keep the HAs at bay, or I'm weaking its effectivness -- but a lot of this is a crap shoot anyway.
In any case, I hope he's over them soon. Keep us informed.
Ken
