Yes, is possible! your provider could not have all the connections OK. this may cause an unidentified address toward some other servers.
About a virus...this is not a virus effect, but is better to check your sistem frequently.
And yes, not shitty but hurry..:-) My daughter was on my knees, my wife was talking and screaming to my daughter.... a good week end...end :-)
