I tried verapamil with no success. Verapamil is a calcium channel blocker. I have also tried sansert with no luck either. I am now taking Depakote and the headaches are very tolerable. However, I have learned the Depakote can cause liver damage. I have to get a blood test now to be sure I'm not damaging my liver. Sansert can only be taken for 6 months (if it works) and then you have to stay off of it for a couple of months. Good luck.
