Firstly, I am a classic chronic for over four years, I took the shrooms about six months ago and it was the best move I ever made. I got excellent short term relief but I then got hit bad for a few weeks. I still, and have always took, 240mg of Verapamil a day since I was diagnosed. Before the shrooms the Verapamil, which worked wonders for a few months or so, had stopped working!
I stopped taking any kind of abortives (OTC meds . . . . . .etc) prior to the shrooms. However, over the past four months I would say that my clusters have decreased in frequency and intensity by about 95% at a minimum. GIVE IT TIME. I took two doses, the second was one week after the first.
My life has changed over the past few months and I feel normal again. I feel that it won't last (I may have to do the treatment again) but I am enjoying my pain free experience while I can.
I have posted my experiences on this site before for everybody to read, but apart from a few VERY helpful, and a FEW interested observers I have had little interest in what I have done.
But then again I'm not one of the croud!
