Hello all, I found your website and love reading all the posts. I guess I need some advice. I don't think I have CH but need some insight if anybody knows. I suffer from headaches about 2 x's a week. Usually on the right side of my head. It's a throbbing pain and lights, noise and smells are very hard to be around. Twice a month about a few days before my menstrual I get a migrane where I vomit and have to be alone in the dark. I use imetrex injections which work about 90% of the time. But the headaches I have during the week I believe are stress related due to being home with my 4 children. Imetrex does not work or any NSAIDs either. My doc gave me darvocet to try and in the beginning it would ease the headache but now they do not work. I ususally wake up with these headaches and they last for a few days. I just ordered a ortho pillow maybe that will help. I have been to a dentist and he says my teeth and jaw are fine. I've tried a chiropractor and my back is fine. So in your opionion do you guys think I have Clusters or are they just regular headaches. I know for sure I have migranes but that is due to my hormones. I have had a MRI and also catscan done which came back fine. Anybody have any advice for me. It is so hard to take care of my kids and I feel so bad when I hear my 5 year old take a tick tack out of her purse and said mommy I need to take my pills. Oviously she learns that from me. I'm getting really depressed about this and would love for these headaches to go away. When they arrive in the morning if I could just take a bath and have a good backrub they usually feel better, but I have a 1,2 5 and 7 year old to take care. Any body have any advice? And thank you for listening, my doc basically says deal with it. It runs in my family but my dad stopped having them when he reached 35. I am 28 years old and been suffereing for 5 years. But they seem to get worse each year. Thank you in advance.
