Hi Paul,
Funny you should mention this. My husband has traditionally started his cycles each spring and fall pretty much around the time we change our clocks. In fact, at Easter dinner he abruptly announced "I think I'm coming into season soon..." Even though we all smiled at the way that statement was unfortunately articulated, we all knew what lies ahead in the weeks/months to come. If you read the Medical Information on this board about the Circadian Rhythyms and Biological Clocks, the timing of your cycles will make more sense to you. Would be interesting to know, although we never will, if there were as many episodic sufferers BEFORE the daylight savings time came to be.....? I think it is a trigger for a lot of people. Even though it's only an hour a day, it does throw us off our natural rythyms and our daylight exposure is different.
In answer to your question about battle plans....for this cycle, I am planning on starting hubby now on the water treatment to see if we can make a difference in the severity of the attacks at the outset. Will post any results. The water treatment ended his cycle within two days (!) last time but we didn't learn about it until he was 6 weeks into the cycle.
Best of luck to you Paul, we all hope you get lucky and don't "go into season" this year.
Cheers,
Margi
