I just left my neuro's and have some good news...more baby steps for CH sufferers!!! My neuro here in Vancouver is putting on a dr's symposium about Ha's and has asked my tp be a patient participant for CH. All other patients will focus on migraines I believe. The Dr's are neuro's,GP's,etc. They will be in groups and I will visit the groups and describe my ha's, symptoms,triggers and the effect on my life.It's 4-5 hrs long so I can do lots of talking in that time! I think this could be a good opportunity if handled properly,ANY ADVICE let me know!
My Dr also mentioned a procedure being tried with a electrode implanted in the brain.Every time a CH starts the electrode is zapped(lack of better word) and the HA goes away. Good success so far. This procedure will be reveiwed at convention in NY at end of June.It apparently being tested in Italy?
