There are very few out there,, who do have compassion for the CH sufferer..They do not understand the pain involved. My current family doctor has all but given up on me,,thinks I am hounding him for drugs,, well,, damnit, I was!!
damn it do something.. I usually end up halfway addicted to pain killers during these episodes,, and 3 or 4 days of cold turkey is not much better than the clusters,, But, thank God,, my doctor recommended me to a neurologist,,,He got me off the narcotics,, put me on Verapamil, prednisone, and imitrex...I think I may be seeing some light at the end of the tunnel..I am killing the beast after just 3 weeks of hell.. Usually its 6 to 8 weeks...Suicide is out of the question now,, there are ways to fight the beast... Good luck!
