I agree with you. I think that from reading the posts here that for as many people who have clusters there are that many ways to deal with them! I've had them for over 20 years and only known what they were for maybe half that time. I used to get through each headache by timing them; I could pay attention to the pain reaching its high point and then take comfort in the fact that the pain would gradually go away from that point on. I now use oxygen with great success except now that I am older I don't do well with the lack of sleep! And I can't even stand the 15 minutes of pain before the O2 kicks in. How did I ever make it before? And how do some of these chronic people make it?

It is great to have this place to vent. I told someone today that I'd had two headaches last night and they just looked at me like, so? Lucky for me my doctor has a strong opinion on people not suffering from any kind of pain at all so has been wonderful in helping me. But there is no one like a fellow suffere to understand what "I had two headaches last night". You guys know that you have a shadow headache and you just drag all day. Lucky me; right now I have the most stressful two weeks of my job ever facing me. Talk about timing.

Good luck to all of us!
