An article in the Province, Vancouver, B.C. Canada
April 15,2001, page A28 states that a ship "MV Etireno" is wandering at sea with 250 children that were intended to be slaves on a cocoa plantation in Africa. The United Nations officials are waiting to meet with this ship. Sali Kante, Director of Save the Children in Mali said "People who are drinking cocoa or coffee are drinking their blood". How can I as an ordinary citizen help these children. Boycott coffee and chocolate or would that stop income for legitimate businesses? Thank you for listening,
