Rachel, It IS all in your head... and that is the problem!! You have to go to a doctor and explain to him what you are feeling. Also, start documenting when you get the headaches, where on your head you are getting them, what time of day, your menstrual cycle, what you have eaten, what is going on wih your life. You could have something as simple as tension headaches (being a teenager is really stressfull... I was there once!), need glasses, or maybe you ARE getting migraines. Don't jump to the brain tumor conclusion, everyone just thinks you are being dramatic, and that is when you get poo-pooed by your friends and family (I did the same thing).
Try to go to see a doctor. And maybe consider talking to him alone, with your parents out of the room. This way you can behonest, and not have them influence waht you are saying to the doctor.
Use this site for help. I have suffered my entire life from headaches. You hve found a safe place here.
Take care,
Jeanine
