Lori, I quite agree, that Vera dose is way too low for somebody in the middle of clusters. Fortunately my doc doesn't mind (and he kept a check on my blood pressure), so I could get new scripts whenever I needed them, but I could easily take up to 3 times that much IN NEED.
Just let your doc make sure your husband does not have low blood pressure and ask for a higher dose. Okay, he'll probably have big swollen ankles and constipation, but who cares, right?
Mind that it will take a few days before the higher doses kick in.
