If by "doctor" you mean the family doctor, the one thing he/she should do is refer you to a good neurologist. This is where you will truely begin to get the help that you need. It's like Nini said, be prepared to become a lab rat. Treatment for cluster headaches is at best by trial and error. Keep a cool head and try everything and anything. Good luck.
