You said:
"Only a few migraineurs mistakenly navigate to CH.com". I disagree, and many other regular visitors here agree with me. There are many migraineurs posting here on a continual basis. Much worse, others read their description of their HAs, which clearly contain symptoms which do not fit the criteria for CH, and validate their inaccurate diagnosis.

While Stever (thread below) is correct in stating that we have no way to filter survey responses that originate here any more than we can filter them from any other origination, it stands to reason that a prominent link on a site dedicated to migraineurs will be seen by a large number of migraineurs. It's as if we're asking them to click on the link and complete the survey.

I'm unaware of any attempts to thwart either CHAW or the CHQ. If these exist, I find that behavior reprehensible.

I also don't know what you are referring to when you say
"It looks very queer indeed that our own sites refuse to publicize the questionnaire." Later, you said "What possible reason can there be for the adamant refusal to put prominent links to the CHQ on CH.com, HSG, OUCH and UKCH?"

Clearly, I can't speak for DJ, OUCH or Simon. I can speak for HSG.

As I've explained to you twice in emails, there IS a link to CHQ on hsg.com, and it has been there since a day or two after you requested it. Interestingly, I can't find a link to hsg.com or ch.com on your site. (For the benefit of those who may not be aware, and to refresh your memory, Bennie, the link to CHQ is inside the Chat Room at hsg.com. The reason for this is that our web statistics show that the overwhelming number of people who visit hsg.com start and often end their stay in chat. Putting the link there ensures that the greatest number of visitors to hsg.com will see it.)

"How can this questionnaire possible be detrimental to OUCH or CH.com?" Where did I ever say it was? I fully support the objectives of CHQ and recall offering some (modest tho it may have been) assistance when you posted questions on ch.com about the technical problems you were having creating it.

What I did suggest is that linking to migraine sites may not be in our best interest, and I stand behind that opinion. I fail to see how that makes me a "naysayer".

KTSSU,
T
