My experiance with O2 and insurance companies is that they would not even pay to rent or fill an O2 bottle, because it was not considered medication. Never mind the fact that you need a prescription to obtain it. I settled my own problem by purchasing a medical Liter per Minute regulator and using the O2 tank I use in non HA times for my cutting torch. The local O2 supplier assures me the medical grade O2 comes off the same line as all others, and is perfectly safe. It is a tremendous savings as I was filling small medical tanks nearly daily. Check into it.
