No Jeff, it was after the headache that I wrote it...I couldn't possibly write at that moment...I was trying to write it out for myself, just random thoughts you know, and I thought I would post it...in the few moments of clarity and exhaustion after a CH has left.

Your right, the pain is a stab, that doesn't quit, no throbbing, just stab for half an hour to an hour..sometimes two. Its right behind my eye....but don't you get that vein on your forehead to thump? I feel it just before and after the pain hits. Maybe thats just me. Its only on the left of my forehead and I can see it in the mirror. Like an intersection of three veins that thump beneath my skin. As for the CH, I get that tingle behind my neck and then little pangs in my throat and I know its coming. I wait just a second to see if it is a bad one or not and then run for my immitrex... thank god it works...most of the time. I tried Stadol but it made me throw up.

I used to get a horner's when I first got these three years ago...now I barely get a warning. Within 5 minutes its there. Do you get a warning like that?

I read other people talking about how they have had these for decades...I feel their pain and at the same time hope to god I don't suffer it for that long. I don't think I could take it. I am just waiting for the day when Spring comes and I don't get them...

As for me spelling so neatly...I was an English major in college...Shakespeare and all...then I taught remedial English in a prep school for a year...that's my boring life...how about you?
