Hi I had viral spinal meningitis. The headache that occurs during this is bad enough for DHE. Its a constant pain that does not subside. Doesnt even throb. Im still recooperating from it even though I had it in June of 2000. Your doc should know what he/she is doing. How big is your kid??? My husband had DHE treatment for clusters but it only made the attacks go away for a week. Maybe you will have better luck. Be sure to have them tell you about the side effects. I know there are some but you have to out weigh the pain your child is suffering. Ree
