Ueli & list - I promise, I will post the contents of
insert that came with the mask on Monday. Cuurently, ]
my only web access is via my computer at work. In fact,
I wrote it all out at home but absentmindedly forgot to
bring it with me. My apologies.

It is quite interesting that Anne gets by beautifully,
as she described in her post, with the nasal doohickey,
while Brandon, in his post, appeared rather displeased
with his neuro regarding differences between doohickey,
simple mask, and reservoir mask. Once again, what works
for one of us may not work for another.

The type of mask I've written about is described as
a non-rebreather (I think!) I will post the contents
of the mask insert on Monday. It includes the company
name and a P.O. address. Perhaps they have a web site
as well.

I have had better success with this mask over the simple
mask since I've been using it. But that may also have
to do with my personal psychology as well. For example,
I had a CH this morning that required 25 minutes of O2
set at 10 lpm flow. Normally, at about 20 minutes, I
am prone to freak out if O2 hasn't worked by then. But
I stuck with it, stayed calm, and finally the CH was
history. Is it because the mask enabled me to breath
"purer" O2 (compared with my old mask) or because I
didn't panic? Perhaps a combo of both.
