Todd, Welcome to the exclusive club. My sympathies to you, of course. I am so glad you found this site....it is wonderful and a saving grace. Social life is a challenge. I am chronic also (though older at 42 now) and found it difficult to make "concrete" plans. My dear friends and family know I can cancel if the demons surface. I am fortunate to have some understanding friends...though few. I think we pick and choose who we really trust and educate. I prefer never to cluster in public; though we are not given a choice. Never give up... educate yourself and others. I certainly haven't found the cure but thanks to others I have improved my quality of life. Ritalin has decreased the frequency and intensity of my CH. Check out the site carefully...lots of veterans with great and new advice. WE EDUCATE docs many times. Take care, irene
