Four years ago I had a balloon and stent surgery. Immediately following the surgery, I went three months without an attack.I was hoping they were gone permanently, but they returned. I asked the doctors, but they could not explain it, except to say that my system had been "shocked". I hope your particular case turns out to be more permanent. Good luck with husband's recovery and all else.
