and it would be a good idea to get on something like that or verapamil (or both) too. But it's not used to abort the pain. The items with the most success, from what I've seen at this board, are things like Imitrex or Maxalt. I wouldn't worry about the heart. Most people don't have any reactions to it like that. O2 can be with you wherever, because there are portable canisters as well.
