As he did the first time, he gave me nine injections that centered around my right (offending) eye. However, he gave a few of th injections on the left side in case the effect is really more systemic than thought. From what (little) I have read regarding Botox for chronic pain, the injection sites and effective doses are a bit of a guessing game and may be very person-specific. Note: I have had these shots and shots to my skull base and each time the doctor says "This may hurt" I have to supress a big laugh. Relatively speaking, it tickles.
