I really do not know unless it does something with the receptors in the brain..I do know that about 8 years ago, when having a bad attack , my Doc knocked me out on IV demerol and it killed the cluster then...I was knocked out cold but it came back about 8 hours or so later. It would be worth a try if you are chronic..any relief would be better than none. smiles, nancyc
