I will start by saying that before each attack, I become almost completely blind for about 20 minutes, and it clears up for the pain to take over....After my first cluster, oct. of 97, I continued to get a very slight aura almost everyday. I am now VERY sensitive to lights (cameras are the worst!), and driving at night is very uncomfortable. I just finished my second cluster of my life (thanks to Verapamil, it was a short one), and the aura is still lingering. I see spots, feel like I am looking through a soap bubble etc. It seems to get a little clearer everyday I get further away from the cluster, but yet it is still there and quite annoying. I have seen my optomotrist and she saw nothing, which leads me to believe a part of my brain was damaged in my last attack (my own diagnosis)... my vision is bad enough without this.. does anyone have any info or experience similar problems?
Hoping to read your reply...
