I have had the injections but they are so very costly and I could only get them when my Dr. had them as samples to give me. They work better than anything else. However the nasel spray is almost as good, taking about 10 min. to take effect, so that is what I use now or at least 6 times a month, since that is all I can get. Yes, the sooner you take the spray, the sooner you'll get relief, uh...Duh. Also, I have no idea why anyone would take the Imitrex too early. Everyone of us knows when an attack is imminent. We get the signals. That is when one should use the Imitrex, be it..Injection or nasel spray. I would not suggest anyone take Imitrex just because they know that everyday at 4:03 pm they get a H.A. Wait for the symptoms. Hope this helps. Linda Howell
