Hi Mark
My husband has tried feverfew with little success. It seems you have to take it for so long and try to take it BEFORE the cycle starts...pretty much guesswork. It did diminish the severity of the cycle but certainly didn't abort it.
I'm all for natural stuff, having seen him go through the horrific side effects of chemical medicines. The ONLY thing that has ever aborted a cycle for him has been the Water Treatment. It really worked for him - within two days the cycles was GONE! But, it is not for everyone and who knows if it will work for him again. This is really a hit and miss experience - sometimes rubbing his shoulders helps the neck muscles to relax and therefore the beast goes to sleep (the CH, not my hubby! - lol), other times if I touch him I might as well have a spatula in hand to scrape him off the ceiling. You have to find what works for you and that means trial and error.
Best of luck to you Mark, pain free days ahead.
Cheers,
Margi
p.s. By the way, how the heck did you come up with the name Pinksharkmark, or is that too personal? I guess we'll have to come to our own conclusions out here! lol
