but yeah it is true..that women do get less "understanding" and treatment for chronic pain and other conditions... it is like the story if a male goes to the hospital complaining of chest pains..they are having a heart attach...if a women complains of heart attach related symptoms they are passed off as Not being one, heartburn, anxiety etc....

I have worked on the oncology unit in the hospital...and seen DOCTORS giving tyelenol for Critically Ready to drop dead patients...because of fear of dependency on regular narcotics or opiods...WHO CARES!!! Keep these people comfortable for God sakes....

But this to is a little known thing...treating chronic pain....and old habits and training are hard to break.... Their are so many diseases that are so misunderstood etc... Lets all be more compassionate to fellow people who are sick..instead of right away passing judgements...Cuz the truth is WE really don't know what ANOTHER person FEELS in their own body...we can imagine and sympathize but you don't live in their body.... Good rule to think of when you are ready to go off on someone who you think could be worse or less off that you are... Hope that made sense...LOL...

Sleep well... Jackie L.
