My doctor is lowering my prednisone, for the past two monthes,by 5mgs. each, I am now experiencing blood pressure increases, and sore and achy muscles more than when I was on higher doses,the prednisone had already increased the blood pressure after four monthes of taking it,now the decreases have increased it even more.I have been on prednisone for a year now I have autoimmune hepatitis.
