Very recognisable!! I have had the same reaction towards alcohol, tired all day, problems sleeping at night, no humor, no laughs, problems concentrating. To be honest, I did not really notice, my wife did. She was the first to recognise a CH cycle coming up, I thought I was stressed due to to much work.
Lots of "normal" headaches as wel in the weeks before the beast was back, painkillers did not work at all. "Ugly" is the word to use, indeed.
