Sorry to hear about your incident but, I'm with Cassie.....the giggles are about to erupt here. I was a Rott owner for 8.5 years (she died of Lupus) and, knowing their personality like I do, he was probably in his own Rottie way trying to make you feel better! You know, take your mind off your headache. Actually, it worked didn't it? Plus, at least he had the decency to take you (gently, I remind you) around the corner and didn't do you right out there in the street! Right?
On behalf of all the dog lovers out here, I say thank you for not using that damn gun on an animal that has zero defense against a weapon. Might I suggest you load your gun with water instead? It works very well against barking dogs and is MUCH more humane!
Ok, I won't berate you any more for carrying a gun but us Canadians have a bit of a hard time imagining feeling the need to carry one just to go outside.
