verap along with lithium has turned me from chronic to some kind of episodic, i have good weeks and bad weeks.im on 480 mgs of verap and 600 mgs of lithium a day and i would literally kill anyone that tried to take me off of it, i went 14 years chronic with nothing but asprin and ice-(the good old days----LMAO)---LOL
