I use naratriptan (Amerge) with success. My attacks are damped down by verapamil (480 mg/d) so much that
5 - 10 min of O2 kill them off completely. However, being awakened every 1 to 1.5 hours by the next attack
kept me quite short of sleep. My neuro first added Tegreol, but after 3 days a came to the conclusion that this
must be the stuff they use to make zombies. Next he prescribed naratriptan. This gives me a full nights sleep,
without any attacks during the night. In fact, it works so well that I reduced the dose to half of a 2.5 mg tablet,
thereby reducing the sides (a bit of a slow start in the morning) as well.
