Hi Susan,

My name is Chamb and it's been around 12 years since the Demon first approached me. Since then I've enjoyed long terms of pain-free living, however as I'm sure you know, the demon never gives up and he still makes house calls. I tend to leave the Demon behind once he's finished his torture techniques on me. I have found it easier to forget all about the pain when it's not with me. Not sure why it's so easy but it's very effective for me. I spend 8 months out of the year in Dharamsala, India ( Home of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Government in exile. I volunteer for a Non-governmental organisation called Tibetan Youth Congress. In the summer I am an outdoor swimming pool manager for the state of Ma.. 31 years old and still haven't ever had a chat session or conversation with another cluster head.

I am in Holland now but will be back in the states around the first of June. If you are looking for someone to relate with, associate with, sympathize, empathize or what ever, I'm very interested in getting to know another cluster head... Guess I should mention that I'm taking Amitriptyline for the clusters and unlike most people it's been more than I could have ever hoped for. I still get the cluster but the pain is nothing compared to a cluster before Amitriptyline. A few years ago I had some proceedures done here in Holland in which I had the ganglion deep in my face burned for 3 minutes at a time. Incredible pain but just couldn't ask the doctors to stop, knowing that the longer I could take it, the longer the demon would leave me alone. In the end, the nerves had adapted to the proceedure and began to regenerate at a faster and faster pace until I just stopped going for the proceedure. The same type of thing is going on with the Amitriptyline, my body is motabolizing the drug faster and faster, soon I will have to go off the drug for some time and allow my body to forget it's presence and after some months I think I'll be able to back on and still be able to get the full potential of the drugs ability to hide the pain.

If you'd like to try and get together in a chat session, just let me know...

Chamb Meehan
