But to chide a clusterhead for referring to a migraine, when they are looking for answers to their problem? That person is in the club and is paying the ultimate dues to be here and discuss their problem. You surely haven’t forgotten what we all go through with this disease, so why pile more grief on someone that is paying the price? In my mind the ultimate transgression is to deny support to a fellow cluster sufferer.
There is absolutely no evidence or indication that this site is getting more migraine only questions. Migrainers are looking for answers just like we are and are smart enough to know they won’t find them here. We can move these people along with a civil post and that has proven effective in the past. This paranoia with the word migraine is just that and there is no real threat, period.
Ok buddy, you brought it up, Membership. The conversations about this in the past have pondered the low membership dilemma. Why are there so many posters and such low membership? How can we attract membership in O.U.C.H. when we alienate the exact person we are trying to recruit? Interaction with people, in life, requires selling and you sure won’t sell anything using venom. O.U.C.H. was spawned from here and if that dream is to be realized we can’t get distracted by the wording in a post or their choice of a word. When those people are attacked we lose a potential member and diminish our credibility to all the people we are after.
