I think you misunderstood. What I'm suggesting is the formation of a Usenet newsgroup; *not* a listserver which dumps all the messages of the group in your e-mail account.
I can blast through the message boards of various newsgroups at light speed (and offline too)compared to this web-based message board which requires one hit the back button and reload the message board a gillion times as well as reenter a name and e-mail address with every post.
