I first posted a message back in August re: ICE PICK HEADACHES...I had been suffering for 2 months at that point. It has now been nine months. I've had the MRI and am seeing a neurologist who believes this pain to be "stress related". The stabbing continues, sometimes daily (1 0r 2 bouts) most times now every 2-3 days. The pain when it comes now is so painful, that I just can't stand it any more! The Dr. has me on Nadolol (for 2 months now-which hasn't seemed to do anything) and I take Naproxen when I get the pain. She seems to think they are "clusters", of the "ice-pick" type. My question is if they are clusters, how come they have continued for nine months now? I can not stand it anymore! If I don't get it for a day or two, I think they have gone away and then I get an extremely painful one! I am sick of this! I see the Dr. in about a week, I'm beginning to think that she thinks I am crazy! Do you think these are really clusters? Why have they continued for so long? Someone please help!!!!!
