Ok Bob (and the rest of you), here's the solution. Use a watergun, but..... fill it with a mixture of alcohol (after shave, parfum, or the scotch we can't drink anyway) and water. (About 50/50) Aim for the eyes. Not harmfull, but boy, do they hate it. Hurts like hell (for a short time only), serves them right. Hey, I love dog's. Just don't like to be bitten or served otherwise.
