My husband goes through this, but I just can't imagine what hell it must be on a parent, watching his child suffer like this.
We've tried a number of different doctors and different meds over the years, to no avail. Mike has quickly built immunity to any prescription the docs have given him.
We did find success using the water treatment a couple of years ago, but I think that was because he was totally med free at the time he tried it. It broke his cycle and kept it at bay for about 8 months. He has also tried the shroom treatment twice now and he is currently going into 19 months of remission. His longest since he started with clusters, in his late teens.
Just read everything you can about every available treatment, Bob - you are your daughter's best defense here. Read all the stuff at the left, go through the archives, work for it. And, most importantly, stay with us and see if your daughter would like to talk to other folks who go through what she does.
