I've just read through the Guest Book -- I usually forget to look there. It's amazing how many new people have arrived there in recent months. Yes, sure, there are probably some who have been misdiagnosed by their docs, but not many. It's so gut-wrenching to see so many more people in pain and the common thread is one of desparation. They are overwhelmed when they first find this site, they sit there in tears reading about others having the same pain they've had pretty much all their lives. I think most of us have experienced that feeling.
Sometimes I wonder if DJ realizes what he's done by assembling this group. Now, I've met the guy - he's just normal folk, he's not a God or anything. But I don't really think it hits him what he has created as a result of HIS pain. (No, Jonny, Paco, and/or Bob - this isn't a 'suck-up-to-DJ' post.)
I guess this is just a reminder for everyone to check out the guestbook once in awhile. Lots of those peeps never even post here. Kinda makes me wonder if they ever do get any help, or if they are out there making the wrong choices and ultimately giving in.
