I have suffered from cluster headaches for 20+ years,only having a couple of episodes per year, but in the last 3 years the occurances have escalated to the point that my headaches now "own me". I have seen so many doctors, and tried so many medicines and procedures (including a hysterectomy) yet nothing is working. At this point, for the last few months I am having a custer EVERY Wednesday like clockwork. I have racked my (hurting) BRAIN trying to figure out WHY they are occuring regularly on one specific day.
I am currently taking Zomid, which is frighteningly expsensive, for relief, and Verapamil for prevention. I also have home oxygen.
I am desperate at this point, and admittedly discouraged and hopeless. Any Suggestions out there?????
