To answer your question: yes, we have all felt hopeless, I think, but have to keep knowing that they will end, and that someday, someone will find a cure. In any case, we're all with you here, and listening, so come to the message board whenever you need to.
One further thought -- when you say you have tried everything, could you be more specific in terms of the medications you've used. And have you tried oxygen? It comes as close to a "miracle" in aborting the headaches as many of us come. Have you tried a prednisone taper, and do you use verapamil, a very effective preventive for many of us. And what about imitrex? If all of this is old stuff to you, fine; I'm just wondering if you really have tried everything, and if you have a knowledgeable neurologist?
In any case, stick close by this board. We're here, and we most assuredly do understand.
